The plans were excellent, easy to follow and build. i have been running/fishing steelhead rivers for 45 years and also was a guide. i have used just about every type of boat to float fish with many years in 16 to 18 wood drift boats. this pram is just the ticket for 1-2 people. 1st class - b. Thinking of staring a new boat. this time a lo-side drift pram. my requirements are- 1 rower, 1 angler, simple interior, no more than 48" wide bottom, flat on both ends for surface area and interior space. i'm thinking of using the "light board and batten boat" form rogers book as a starting point.. As a small drift boat, the pram is the highest quality, most stable and maneuverable welded aluminum fishing and hunting boat of its type available. *kofflers is now offering the 10′ and 12′ aluminum prams in a wide-back version which floats shallower, is even more stable, and offers more interior room than our original pram models..
