Re: treating rot in wooden boats. if you look at the wooden boat forums there's also a very large number of people who use a product called cpes. clear penetrating epoxy sealer buy smiths in the us.. Cpes in the application you are suggesting, is really just an expensive paint, just clearish. for epoxy products to keep rot at bay, the whole of the piece(s), every side, every penetration, everything, needs a number of coats of goo..
