The quirky turnip is an adorable house boat! great location to all amenities and it’s so lovely on the water. very quiet and peaceful. we had a wonderful time and would stay here again when in town.. My houseboat is in a idyllic quiet location in the lovely village of bishopthorpe with the palace views from the boat. it offers tranquility, overlooking the river & free parking directly outside the boat. the houseboat is in walking distance of york city centre (1hr walk, 20min bike).
