When wood flooring pops up, it’s a real source of frustration. you’ve invested dearly in your floor, you’ve done your research, you’ve checked the best fitting method and still your floor pops up.. The wood is apparently wicking up any kind of moisture out of the new concrete floor . we had the entire wood floor taken up and properly reinstalled about 4 times now. still it keeps popping up even after putting moisture resistant glue/liquid .. 1. locate the popping portion of the wood floor by slowly walking across it. press a piece of masking tape to the floor to mark the popping spot..
Moved permanently. the document has moved here.. The result was-i wrecked the floor when i took it up. i could have just moved it away from the wall, but i thought the laminate flooring was junk. because the transitions were glued they were destroyed. the whole thing ended up costing me a lot of money.. My husband (handyman) replaced the popped up boards and sanded the entire area lightly at first waited another few months then sanded the entire area again. now are faced with the moisture coming up through the joins as pictured..
