I am posting this just because i saw a comment from roll the bones in another thread "please oh please no more tin boat talk!!!!" anyway i decided to make my tin boat a self bailing fishing machine.. I want to keep weight out of the ends of the boat so i will be building a rudder from carbon with a carbon cassette so it can be raised while sailing to reduce wetted area downwind and keep it's beachability. i'll start a new thread with pictures when the process begins.. Catboat project and the dog house is torn to bits. but those seem like small things to me. there are coamings in the boat there you might make out, but those were also rather damaged by the guy when he started tearing stuff apart. my search of this thread show that the only use of the term "framing" came from bruce, above. the boat is. I think i kicked ass this time working last thursday and friday for about six hours a day on this project. here are a few pictures of the progress so far. it was countless claiming to and off the boat to messure and fit the parts and all i have to still do is final hight adjustment..
