Wicksteed park model boat club restarted as a club in february 2005, however there has been a model boat club based at wicksteed park since the early 1920s. originally called ‘wicksteed model yacht & power boat club the boats have changed from vane yachts and pole racing i/c powered boats to scale and power boats and yachts.. Mayhem's model boat rally at wicksteed park may 28, 29th 2011 model boat mayhem is holding our annual "mayhem at wicksteed" event again this year and we would like to invite you and your club to attend! this annual event is now a highlight of the model boating calendar and our fifth outing is shaping up to be even bigger and better than ever.
